Can I dive without certification?

YES. Discover Scuba Diving experience will teach you basic skills of scuba diving during a brief theory and confined water session, before joining our dives to enjoy the stunning underwater world or you can start with your Open Water certification.

Can non-divers come along for the boat ride?

YES, they are welcome to come along for $60, but weather permitting, and if the boat is not full that day. Divers have priority.

At what time are your departures?

Our morning 2 tank trips (WRECK, REEF, or MUSA) depart our shop at 8 AM (check-in 7:30 AM) and our afternoon trips depart at 12 PM (check-in 11:30).

Do you pick up divers?

We DO pick up divers for Cavern dives and Cozumel day dives. We do NOT pick up divers for Cancun regular dives, but we can help arrange transportation for a fee with a partner company (at least 24 hours prior to your tour).

Do you make Night dives?

Yes, we do night dives every week, weather permitting. They are not scheduled on specific nights, but rather based on request. We must have at least three divers signed up to do a night dive.

Can I clean and store my equipment in your Dive Shop?

YES, of course. We will happily do it for you and take care of your gear during your stay. If you want, we can set it up every morning and clean/store it after dives.

Do you supply big 100 c/f Tanks?

YES, they are available for an additional charge and must be requested in advance.

Do you supply Nitrox Tanks?

YES, EAN 32% is available for an additional charge per fill and must be requested in advance. You must be Nitrox certified, doing Nitrox certification, or doing a Nitrox Experience.

How long does it take to get to Cancun dive sites?

In our boats we can reach Cancun dive sites quickly. REEFS or MUSA take approx. 30–35 minutes. WRECK dive sites take up to 40 minutes.

Do I require dive insurance?

We have insurance, but we strongly recommend every diver to have scuba diving insurance such as Divers Alert Network (DAN). That is the best company in the diving industry.

Should I book in advance or wait until I arrive in Cancun?

We strongly recommend you book your diving in advance, at least 30 days out. We work with very small groups, space runs out easily, and we want to maintain our level of personalized service.

How far in advance should I make a reservation for a last-minute trip?

Ideally, dive reservations should be made at least 3 days in advance. However, we also accept reservations as short as 12 hours prior if space is available.

How do I make my payment?

All prices are in US dollars. Booking deposits are done through PayPal. Balance of payment is due upon check-in at our shop. We accept: Cash (USD & Pesos), Credit Cards, and PayPal (5% processing fee).

Can I cancel my reservation?

Yes, cancellations are allowed if made at least 48 hours prior. Please check out our Cancellation Policy.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

Cancun is amazing all year long! Underwater conditions are generally great with warm waters and good visibility. Winter is drier but sometimes windy. Summer (July–September) is hottest with Whale Sharks and Mantas still around. September–November is quieter. High season is December–April and June–July.

The BEST thing about Cancun underwater is that is always good! We usually have great visibility , lot of action, and warm waters.

Winters are generally the driest time, but occasionally we can experience North strong winds for 2 - 3 days in a row.

Summer as everybody knows is the hottest time, from July through September. The quietest time here would be during wet season, September through November. We like August ,is not too hot , not many people ,,good diving and the Whalesharks and Mantas are still here
